This was invented by a genius! We have been using similar magnetic chargers for many years - for everything from phones to mini vacuum cleaners, Aikos, headphones, etc. (see photo). One of the most useful and convenient items in the home and car) But for some reason it came with a case for an iPhone. Be more careful when making your choice. The wire is universal, so it will work. Also, the brightness of the backlight in these models is a bit annoying.
